About the author
I was a club whore.
I never beat around the bush or made up excuses. It was what it was. Was it my proudest moment? Not really, but I can’t say that I hated it either.
A club girl’s job was to keep the members of the club happy. In other words, we were mainly there for sex. We also cooked and cleaned, but if you asked a member what a club girl was good for, I have no doubts you’d get a crude remark about her pussy or tits.
I was the property of the Brothers by Blood MC. Some people tended to take offense to the term ‘property’ but I never really saw it as anything negative. Being the property of the club meant that you were important. It meant that the club needed you and would go out of their way to make sure that you were looked after.
Sure, what I did for the club often made others cringe. I was at these mens every beck and call. I cleaned up after them, I cooked for them and when they were horny, I was there to fuck them.
Let’s not try to pretty it up or make it seem like it was some sort of glamorous job.
Some saw us as sluts, whores, and a few choice other names. Each to their own I suppose, I’ve been called a lot worse. I’ve had to deal with more than a few judgmental woman and chauvinistic men – because let’s face it, bitches and assholes aren’t only in motorcycle clubs.
I prefer to think more that I’m a single woman, and while I could be going out every night and fucking random men I pick up from a bar or club, I have a clubhouse full of men who are willing to care about, protect me, and pay for my tuition to college, and what do I have to do? Have sex and clean up a little.
Sounds like a win-win to me.
I loved sex.
The cleaning – not so much.
I didn’t feel as though it was anyone else’s business how I conducted myself sexually. I didn’t do it in front of anyone who wasn’t part of the club, I didn’t do it with anyone who wasn’t part of the club, and I sure as hell didn’t talk about it to anyone who wasn’t part of the club.
When it came to the Brothers by Blood, you learned fast that keeping your mouth shut was essential.
Run your mouth, risk your life.
So far, I had no regrets.
“Hey, Chelsea!”
Hearing my name, I turned to find Rose running up behind me. Rose was a classmate – we were working toward the same degree. She’d transferred here from up north a few weeks ago when her parents bought into a business down here. We’d been thrown together on a pair assignment recently and without Harmony around, and the fact that I didn’t have a great relationship with some of the other club girls, I found myself being pulled toward her. It was also a bonus that she was awesome, fun and great to talk to.
She was the only girl who had tried to befriend me and wasn’t looking for a way into the club. Lots of girls tried to nosey their way in by acting like your BFF, but all they wanted was to sleep with the brothers at the MC. Good on them. Go for it. But I didn’t need nor want fake friends.
I smiled as she jogged over to me. “Hey, what’s up?”
She pulled up beside me and fell into step as we made our way toward our first class of the morning. “Was just wondering what you were up to tonight?”
I raised my eyebrows at her, the look very sarcastic.
She didn’t hold her straight face for long, a giggle soon escaping. “Okay, okay. Stupid question.” She rolled her eyes. “You’re going to spend the night with some drool worthy alpha male biker who will worship your body like the world is going to end tomorrow.”
I laughed. “Girl, you should write romance novels, I think I just came.”
She scoffed. “No wonder the men love you then, they don’t have to put in any effort. Lazy bastards.”
I shrugged. “Honestly, yo
u’ve never had sex until you’ve fucked a big ol’ biker with a dirty mouth.”
That was another thing I liked about Rose, she may not have been fighting to get in with the club and sleep with the men, but she was not shy about her sexuality.
“Are there any days or nights that you are free from the sexy huge cocked, foul-mouthed men. My family are kind of being real bastards and I don’t have any other good girlfriends around to have a night out with.” She scuffed her feet gently against the concrete path as we stopped outside the classroom.
I couldn’t help but smile. This is what I needed. A friend outside the club.
Don’t get me wrong. I loved the club with all my heart. But the reality of the situation was, I never intended being a club girl for the rest of my life. I regarded it as only a way to have fun and get through college. I’d be graduating in a couple months, once the semester was finished and then I would want to find a job - start a career.
My ambition was sports therapy. But I have the knowledge and background to do other fitness based things like personal training.
“I’ll see if I can get a night off this weekend?” I offered, pleading inside my head that Optimus or Blizzard were feeling generous.
Rose’s grin lit up. “Thank you! I’d love that. Honestly, I need to get out.”
“Your family really that bad?” I asked as I pushed through the classroom doors.
She sighed. “Demanding, controlling, bossy bastards.”
“I hear that!” It sounded exactly like what I had to deal with at the club.
“Chelsea, I wasn’t expecting you today,” our lecturer, Mr. Davis said as he walked over from his desk.
I frowned. “I’m sorry. What?”
He dipped his eyes and scanned the piece of paper he had in his hands. “I got a letter from administration this morning saying that you’d withdrawn from this semesters papers. Is that not the case?”
I looked over at Rose, who just stared at me wide-eyed. “No, that is absolutely not right. I never …” I paused. There was only one other person who had the authority on my file to do that because he paid my fees. I gritted my teeth and hiked my backpack higher onto my shoulder. “I’ll sort it out today and be back in tomorrow.”
“I’ll take notes for you,” Rose called. I gave her a quick wave before I stormed from the classroom and headed for the parking lot, my feet slamming against the path and angry, violent thoughts clouding my head.
Asshole.
Fuckhead.
Cocksucker.
I was going to castrate him!
The drive back to the clubhouse was fast and rather erratic. I blared my horn on more than one occasion and almost flattened a little old lady on a motor scooter.
I stormed down the hallway toward Optimus’ office. I knew he was there, and he was about to get a piece of my mind.
Optimus was the president of the Athens chapter of the Brothers by Blood Motorcycle Club. The club were outlaws of the sexiest kind. They rode Harley’s, owned clubs and strip joints and were the ultimate alpha males. The Brothers by Blood lived by their own set of rules with leadership and ranks amongst them. They were dangerous, intimidating, and bad to the bone, but most of all they cared about their family and their brotherhood.
I threw the office door open with enough force that the pictures on the wall rattled and threatened to fall. Optimus may be quiet, brooding and hard to understand, but one thing everyone knew about him was that he was proud of his family - blood and brothers alike. And because of that, his office was filled with framed pictures. It was like a gallery of his life.
“Who the hell do you think you are?!” I boomed in the small space.
His head was down as he studied some type of papers, but he lifted only his eyes to look at me, his gaze so intense a weaker woman would have crumbled.
“I was about to ask you the same thing, coming in here and screeching at me,” he said slowly, menacingly. “I may have had my dick in you, but don’t forget who you’re talking to.”
I forced my feet to stay glued to the floor and not retreat like they were desperately fighting to do. I cared about Optimus and I respected his position in the club, but I wasn’t going to let him get away with this. It was unfair and uncalled for.
I held my shoulders back. “You canceled my college papers?”
He sat straight, taking his time as he folded those thick sexy arms across his chest and narrowed his chocolate brown eyes at me. “Since I pay for them, I believe that’s well within my rights.” His voice was smooth and calm like he was asking me to lose it – challenging me.
“One semester, Optimus! Not even six months and I’ll be done. What the hell?”
“We’ve got trouble brewing. In case you’ve forgotten – it’s my job to protect this club and the people in it. I’ve got men everywhere, and with Caleb gone, I’m a man down. I can’t have someone on you.” His voice softened a little but still left no room for argument.
We’d had some drama with the club over the last few weeks. My best friend and former club girl, Harmony, had been claimed by Kit—the president of another Brothers by Blood chapter from down south. She’d been taken—a long story with slave traders and abusive long lost fathers. When the brothers went to retrieve her, one of our boys, Caleb—who was fondly named Shield—protected Kit and lost his life in the process.
I had thought the drama was over, but never a dull moment and all that.
“Optimus, you can’t do that. I’m almost done and if you cancel my papers for this semester, I’ll have to resit next year.” I felt tears brimming in my eyes. School meant a lot to me. I wanted to be there. The club girl lifestyle wasn’t everything to me like it was for some of the other girls. They intended on sticking around for a long time—some with Old Lady ambitions. Others, just too lazy to go out and search for a real job. Drinking someone else’s alcohol and fucking a bunch of sexy bad boys was just too easy.
For me, it was a way to fill the time and have fun, a way to get by while I was getting my degree. But one day I wanted something more.
I hoped the club would still be a part of my life—they had become important to me. But I wouldn’t be a club girl forever.
“It’s already done,” he said, picking up a stack of papers off his desk and focusing on them.
Stubborn bastard. Let’s see how you like this.
“You pay my school fees in return for what I do here at the club.” I paused for a minute, letting that sink in.
His brow creased and he looked back up at me with a snarl. “Chelsea … I’m not playing games.”
“You ain’t paying my fees, fine. I’ll get my stuff. I need to find a job so that I can.” I pulled the door shut behind me as I stormed from the room.
“Chelsea!”
I ignored his bellowing and headed straight for my bedroom. There were six club girls who lived here permanently. Where we lived was an old hotel that the men had renovated and done up. Us club girls, each had our own rooms on the first floor—easy access for the men. They each had a private room upstairs. Sometimes it felt kind of like a college dorm space and I was living a college girl’s wet dream. I get a free education and I get to screw a group of fine ass bad boy bikers with tattoos.
Unfortunately for me, there’s one biker in particular that drives both my body and my mind crazy.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
I smiled to myself as I opened my bedroom door to see, said biker, gripping my doorframe and scowling.
“That shit ain’t funny, Chel.”
“Who the fuck’s laughing? Since you’re not paying my school fees, I need to find a way to do just that. So I’m heading out to find a job.” I threw my handbag over my shoulder and moved to pass him, but his large body blocked the doorway in its entirety. “Excuse me.”
He moved toward me, his eyes burning through my skin, holding all kinds of promises behind them. I stepped back as he continued to come at me, stalking me. His motorcycle club cut fit snugly over his s
houlders and with only a white wife beater underneath, it clearly showed off the intricate tattoos that decorated his biceps and forearms with little room to spare.
The back of my knees hit the bed and I reacted, my hands reaching out and gripping onto his waist to steady myself.
Optimus was the king of intimidation. He was as big and he was scary and he knew just how to use both of those traits to get what he wanted.
“Do you have any idea what kind of danger you’d be in by going out alone, without an escort?” he growled.
“I went out this morning without one.” I protested, but as soon as the words left my mouth, I knew they were wrong. If things were as bad as they seemed, he wouldn’t let me leave without someone tailing me. I sighed. “Who was it?”
“Ham.”
Ham was a prospect, a very new prospect who’d only joined the club a month or so ago. Prospects got the low gutter jobs, the ones that no one else wanted and because they wanted their full patch so desperately, they did them—no questions asked or complaints. There wasn’t a set amount of time that you had to be a prospect, it was all about proving yourself and proving your loyalty to the club.
“Damn, that kid’s good. Like a fucking ninja,” I muttered. Being with the Brothers for the last few years I’d learned to tell when someone was following me. Just another of the lessons that you learn when you’re part of the club, but you know you aren’t going to have any use for when you leave.
“No other job.”
And there we were again.
“Why? You’ve barely even paid me any notice since Harmony left. What does it matter if I leave?” I challenged him and he hated it.
He turned me, controlling my movements and forced me to walk backward. The door slammed behind me and I was quickly forced against it, Optimus’ body pressed securely against mine. “Doesn’t mean I want you to fucking die. Do you understand the terms, danger and trouble, college girl? I’m not doing this shit for fun. I’m doing it to keep your sexy little ass safe.”
His light bristles tickled my neck as he skimmed it with his lips. Just with that one movement, I wanted to give in and he knew it. This was my Optimus. This was the man I got to see that no one else did. The man I’d fallen for. I badly wanted to let go and be with him after he’d spent the last week pushing me to the side. But negotiations had just begun and I wasn’t about to give up on something that I wanted and needed so badly.
